I found this book a real delight, not only because I love hearing real life stories about every day people, but for so many other reasons. Firstly, this book profiles a wide range of different investors with different strategies from renovating, buy and hold, flipping, development, wrapping and more. As a property investor myself, I found it entertaining, educational and just plain inspiring – it made me give myself a real kick for being so consumed with other areas of my life that my passion for investing in property has been given the back seat for some time now. The other thing I loved about reading this is that it showed that these people who have made a lot of money through investing in property (their combined portfolios are worth over $183million) are multi faceted. This book showed their charitable interests and the way that many of them aren’t the poorly stereotyped “money hungry” wealthy investor – but that they’re real people looking for win-win situations for the people they work with and the communities they operate in.
